We will help you attain the right units you need for a Nationally Recognised Qualification and your Erection of prefabricated metal framed home additions and structures Contractor’s licence.

What's involved?

1. Free Skills Assessment

You need to have valid industry experience in order to qualify for this RPL program. When you first touch base, we will help you identify your skills and advise on whether this qualification is right for you. As a rule of thumb if you have more than 3 years experience in your field, then you are likely to be eligible.

2. Evidence Portfolio
  • valid Identification
  • list showing relevant employment history
  • work samples and documents (such as Renovation plans, surveys, contracts, tender documents, invoices, variation contracts, hand over document’s, minor/major work documents etc)
  • letter of employment
  • reference letters from licensed tradesmen in your industry
  • photos and videos of your work covering the various stages of prefabricated metal framed home addition and structures. Include some of you wearing your PPE gear.
  • overseas qualifications
  • Proof of purchases such as invoices, purchase orders or receipts relating to work purchases
  • related licenses, short courses, accreditation, certificates, transcripts or assessments you have attained
  • Apprenticeship papers (if available)
  • Any other evidence
3. Skills Check
  1. You will be having a conversation covering questions for each unit with our qualified assessor
  2. The assessor may choose to also perform a practical observation.
  3. Where gap training is required, you will need to complete theory or practical assessments as required. Theory components can be completed from home and practical components can be completed at your work site.
4. Qualified!

All certificates are Nationally Recognised and issued by a Qualify Me! partner college. Now you can grab that licence!

    Completion of the following  subjects from the Certificate III in Carpentry

    1. CPCCA3002A  Carry out setting out
    2. CPCCCO2013A Carry out concreting to simple forms
    3. CPCCCA3010A   Install and replace windows and doors
    4. BSBSMB406A Manage small business finances
    5. CPCCCM1012A Work effectively and sustainably in the construction industry
    6. CPCCCM1013A Plan and organise work
    7. CPCCCM1014A   Conduct workplace communication
    8. CPCCCM1015A  Carry out measurements and calculations
    9. CPCCCM2001A   Read and interpret plans and specifications
    10. CPCCBC4008A Conduct on-site supervision of the building and construction projects
    11. CPCCOHS1001A  Work safely in the construction industry

    Completion of the following  subjects from the Certificate I Construction

    1. CPCCCM1011A  Undertake basic estimation and costing
    2. CPCCCM2005 B   Use construction tools and equipment

    Completion of the following  subjects from the Certificate II Business

    1. BSBCUS201B  Deliver a service to customers

Scope of work

Wok involves erection of pre-fabricated metal-framed home additions and structures comprising decks, patios, gazebos, awnings, porches, verandahs, pergolas, screened or glass enclosures, modular rooms, carports, garages, workshops, sheds and other similar additions and structures, including any residential building work incidental to the erection of such additions or structures

Qualifications required

Completion of the following subjects from the Certificate III in Plumbing:
