This program meets South Australia’s Consumer and Business Services business criteria for a contractor’s licence (Option 2). In South Australia a person must be licensed as a building work contractor if they carry on a business of performing building work for others, or performing building work with a view to the sale or letting of land or buildings improved by that work.
One of the requirements to get a contractor’s licence in South Australia is to meet the business criteria requirements. PCD Training’s SA Contractor licence business criteria course meets Option 2 of the Consumer and Business Services business criteria requirements.

1. Free Skills Assessment
You need to have valid industry experience in order to qualify for this RPL program. When you first touch base, we will help you identify your skills and advise on whether this qualification is right for you. As a rule of thumb if you have more than 2 years business experience, then you are likely to be eligible.

- Complete a workbook
- The assessor may choose to have a competency conversation with you to validate your responses in the workbook.

Upon successful completion of this RPL Program you will be awarded a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment in:
- BSBSMB401 Establish legal and risk management requirements of small business
- BSBSMB406 Manage small business finances.
This unit is a QBCC licensing qualification requirement for most trade licences and is required in addition to the successful completion of your trade qualification.
