Scope of work

The Automotive Electrical Technology scope of work includes but is not limited to using and maintain electrical test equipment in an automotive workplace, solder electrical wiring and circuits, Install vehicle lighting and wiring systems, repair wiring harnesses and looms, Install ancillary electronic systems and components, test and repair basic electrical circuits, diagnose and repair spark ignition engine management systems and Inspect and service engines.

Experience Requirements

At least 2 years relevant industry experience in a wide range of Automotive Body Repair Technology with a licensed person.

100 Pts ID JP Certified, Referee Testimonial Min 2 yrs Exp, Video, Photo

Regulatory Licensing Requirements

1) Be a 'fit and proper person'
Fair Trading will perform checks (including financial and police checks) to determine whether you are a fit and proper person.

2) Have the required qualification
Automotive electricians who Installs or repairs electrical equipment, systems, or circuits in motor vehicles, needs the following qualifications:

Overall a good experience.
Steph has been easy to deal with and helpful along the process, thanks to her I could successfully obtain a certificate 3.
Just keep in mind that the person collecting your informations and proofs might not be in the same professional activity sector than you, which can sometimes be a bit frustrating when having to explain specific tasks or videos.
