The Roof Tiling RPL program provides a trade outcome in Roof Tiling for residential and commercial construction work. The qualification has core unit of competency requirements that cover common skills for the construction industry, as well as a specialist field of work.
The Roof Tiling scope of work includes but is not limited to handling roof tiling materials, use roof tiling tools and equipment, tile regular roofs, tile irregular roofs, repair and replace valleys, valley irons and flashings, repair and renovate tile roofs and work safely on roofs.
At least 2 years relevant industry experience in a wide range of Roof Tiling work with a licensed Roof Tiler.

According to NSW Fair Trading, tradies applying for a license must have the relevant industry knowledge and experience and have completed:
1) CPC30820 Certificate Ill in Roof Tiling or
2) CPC30812/ CPC30811/ CPC30808/ BCG30803 Certificate Ill in Roof Tiling
