The Construction Waterproofing RPL program provides a trade outcome in waterproofing for the residential and commercial construction industry. The qualification has core unit of competency requirements that cover common skills for the construction industry, as well as two specialist fields of work.
The Construction Waterproofing scope of work includes but is not limited to handling waterproofing materials, use waterproofing tools and equipment, prepare surfaces for waterproofing application, apply waterproofing process to below-ground level wet areas, apply waterproofing process to internal wet areas, apply waterproofing process to above-ground external wet areas, apply waterproofing remedial processes and Assess construction waterproofing process.
At least 2 years relevant industry experience in a wide range of Waterproofing work with a licensed Waterproofer.

According to NSW Fair Trading, tradies applying for a license must have the relevant industry knowledge and experience and have completed:
1) CPC31420 Certificate III in Construction Waterproofing or
2) CPC31411 / CPC31408 Certificate III in Construction Waterproofing
