The Cabinet Making RPL program covers the skills and knowledge required to perform a range of skills at trade-level for those working in furniture making and those involved in the manufacture and installation of fitted furniture typically in a kitchen, bathroom and related context. Installation skills may be applied to new or renovation work.
The Cabinet Making scope of work includes but is not limited to using furniture making hand and power tools, prepare surfaces for finishing, join solid timber, hand make timber joints, operate basic static machines safely, construct furniture using leg and rail method, produce angled and curved components using manufactured board and select timbers for furniture production.
At least 2 years relevant industry experience in a wide range of wet plaster work with a licensed Solid Plasterer.

According to NSW Fair Trading, tradies applying for a license must have the relevant industry knowledge and experience and have completed:
1) CPC30220 Certificate III in Carpentry or

4) LMF32109 Certificate III in Cabinet Making
