To be eligible for this qualification, students must already hold one of the following Certificate IV level automotive qualifications:
1) AUR40216 Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis
2) AUR40816 Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Overhauling
3) AUR40620 Certificate IV in Automotive Electrical Technology
