About The Certification

This qualification provides a trade outcome in wall and ceiling lining. The qualification has core unit of competency requirements that cover common skills for the construction industry, as well as two specialist fields of work.

Scope of work

This is a trade qualification for dry plasterers in residential and commercial workplace. It includes but not limited to fixing standard plasterboard wall and ceiling sheets, fixing battens, fixing wet area sheets, fixing fibre cement board, mixing plastering compounds, finishing plasterboard joints manually and cutting and fix paper-faced cornices.

Experience Requirements

Applicants must show a least 2 years relevant industry experience in a wide range of Dry Plastering work with a licensed Wall and Ceiling Liner.
